So it’s Friday night and last call is just around the corner but you are not ready to return your last martini glass to the bar and call it a night! There are tons of hidden “late night spots” in New Jersey that are right under your nose. Have you ever heard of Grandfather Law? In my 21 year old eyes, it is one of the most exciting laws ever past! Bar’s that have developed some longevitity stay open until, get this, 3 a.m.! Here’s a list of some of the North Jersey spots I’ve encountered over the last few months. Enjoy my fellow night owls!
Ed’s Tavern, Saddle Brook, New Jersey
Ed’s is a pretty casual, local spot where you can guarantee a crowd seven nights a week. You’ll definitely meet some fun, interesting people where you can play darts and photo hunt til the sun comes up. Plus drinks are cheap and the bartenders are very welcoming!
Pub 46, Rt. 46E, Clifton, New Jersey
Much like Ed’s, Pub is also a local place where you’re guaranteed to see the same faces night after night. They have great prices with a full menu available until 2 a.m. The atmosphere is great where you’ll definitely have a good time!
Bourbon Street, Hillsdale, New Jersey
First and foremost Bourbon has great drink prices and is always a great time. Just a few miles from the GWB its a great spot to stop by on your way home from the city to grab a few drinks before calling it a night.
